Check your photo against Vinted's rules.
Vinted sets rules for the main image that can be measured from the photo: cut-off edges. Drop a photo to see which ones it meets. It runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Choose a marketplace and a photo.
Rules come from each marketplace's own help pages, summarised in the guides (checked 11 October 2026). Size, file size and format are checked as well.
What Vinted asks for.

- Main image
- The whole product in frame, nothing cut off
- Number
- Up to 20 photos per listing
- First photo
- The first photo clearly shows the whole item; Vinted's photo tips say not to use collages
- Real photos
- Photos taken by you for use on Vinted, showing the item as it is; no image editing is allowed
- Not allowed
- Stock photos, photos from ads and watermarked images; pictures taken from another website; any image that does not show the actual item being sold
- Quality
- Sharp and clear; Vinted's photo tips say not to use flash or filters
- Models
- Vinted suggests a hanger, a mannequin or a flat lay as alternatives to modelling the item yourself
- Pro sellers
- A listing can be removed when the same pictures are used in several listings
How each rule is measured.
- Cut-off edges
- A product whose outline reaches the edge of the frame is reported as cut off, together with the edges it touches.
- Scene photos
- Room and lifestyle photos have no plain background to measure against, so fill, edges and shadow are marked as not measured rather than guessed.
