- The seller academy gives at least 500 pixels, with 1,000 × 1,000 pixels recommended; the product API accepts square images from 500 × 500 to 5,000 × 5,000 pixels

- 10 MB or less in the seller academy's listing guide; 3 MB or less through the product API
- Shape
- Square; an image that is not square is resized by Coupang and registered automatically
- Number
- One main image and up to 9 additional images; Coupang may change registered images to fit its standards

- The listing guide's answer on image specifications: 1,000 × 1,000 pixels or larger, showing only the product clearly on a white background
How each rule is measured.
- Background colour
- The background colour is the median of a thin band along all four edges. A pure-white rule passes only when that band is RGB 255, 255, 255; near-white values such as 253 are reported with their exact colour.
- Square format
- Width and height must match to within 2%.
- Scene photos
- Room and lifestyle photos have no plain background to measure against, so fill, edges and shadow are marked as not measured rather than guessed.

What background does Coupang require for the main image?
White background. The checker reads the background from the edges of the photo and reports its exact RGB value.
Does Coupang require square images?
Square image, width equal to height. The checker compares the width and height in pixels.
