Background removal places your own photo of the item on white, and product studio sets the product alone in a white studio, the light, neutral background Ricardo's tips describe. Herofab has no 4:3 ratio, so a 16:9 landscape image loses part of its width in Ricardo's 4:3 crop, and a 4K file can exceed the feed's 5 MB limit per image, which the seller checks before upload.

2K and 4K output clears the 700 px minimum resolution for feed images.
No added watermarks
Images made on a plan or with a credit pack carry no watermark, which Ricardo's product feed does not accept.

- Crop
- Ricardo crops pictures to the 4:3 format, so horizontal photos look better in the search results
- Background
- The item in front of a light, neutral background, photographed in daylight without direct sun and with the flash off; a calm, tidy setting with other objects removed
- Main image
- The complete item, filling the picture well and fully visible
- Details
- Different angles and the details that make the difference, such as the brand; scratches, marks and signs of use must be clearly visible
- Product feed
- 1 to 10 image URLs per product, JPG or PNG, a minimum resolution of 700 px and at most 5 MB per image; a changed image is only picked up when its URL changes too
- Not allowed
- Stock images, and watermarks, QR codes, logos or contact details in feed images; in every listing image, any self-promotion or advertising for others, and contact details such as a postal, web or e-mail address
- Rights
- Only images you created yourself or whose use the rights holder has approved; picture and text must not contradict each other
