A whitewashed lane, for bags, linen and summer wear.

Pale walls and narrow lanes give colour somewhere to stand out. Herofab places a model in a Mediterranean village setting, wearing the garment or carrying the bag from the seller's photo, and is briefed to keep the product's shape, colour and hardware.

Worth knowing

What a pale backdrop does to a product.

  1. 1

    White on white

A white shirt or an ivory dress in front of a whitewashed wall can lose its outline. Tan leather, terracotta, navy and prints separate cleanly. For white pieces, see that the edge of the garment is still readable against the wall, or choose a different location.

  2. 2

    Bags are carried, not worn

A bag is shown in the hand, on the shoulder or across the body. Its size against the model is what a buyer reads first. Compare the handle drop and the proportions with the real bag, and see that the clasp, the rings and any logo plate are in their places.

  3. 3

    Hard sun and its shadows

Village light is bright, with sharp shadows from walls and doorways. A shadow falling across the product can look like a stain or a darker panel. Look over the image for one, and prefer the scene's own light or morning light when the piece has a pale, even colour.

The product photo for a village image.

  • For a bag, stuff it so it keeps its shape, stand it upright and photograph the front straight on with handles and strap inside the frame.
  • For a garment, hang it or lay it flat in even light with the whole piece visible, and smooth linen enough that deep creases do not read as seams.
  • Add a close-up of the hardware or of the weave when it defines the product: a clasp, a buckle, raffia, embroidery or openwork.
Questions

AI fashion photos in a village lane, answered.

Which products suit a village setting?

Summer pieces and accessories: linen shirts and trousers, sundresses, straw and leather bags, sandals and hats. The pale walls make colour and natural materials stand out. Dark tailoring and winter outerwear usually sit better on a city street.

Can one model be used for a whole summer collection?

Yes. A ready-made model or a model created in the app can be selected for every product, and a created model can be saved to the library. The same person in the same place makes separate product pages read as one campaign.

How is the bag held in the image?

The way that type of bag is normally carried: a tote on the shoulder or in the hand, a crossbody across the body, a clutch in the hand. The category chosen at upload tells the tool which it is, so pick the category that matches the bag.

How much does it cost?

5 credits per image, plus one credit for 4K. The cost is shown before you generate, and if a job fails the credits are returned. The 20 free credits at sign-up cover 4 images with this tool.
