Panels and flat seams
Activewear is built from shaped panels joined by flat seams, often in a contrast thread. These lines curve around the body, and the 3D shape should let them curve too. Trace each seam on the result and compare it with the garment.

Mesh, cut-outs and reflective trims
Mesh inserts, laser-cut vents and open backs let the backdrop show through, so the backdrop colour changes how they read. See-through areas and fine edges are the parts to check first; reflective strips and bonded tapes come next.

Logos, waistbands and colour blocks
A small heat-transfer logo, a jacquard waistband with lettering and sharp colour blocking are briefed to stay as photographed. Small lettering is the usual weak point; add a detail close-up of the waistband or chest logo to give the tool a clearer reference.

- Lay the garment flat without stretching it and smooth the fabric from the centre outwards; elastane creases show clearly under direct light.
- Seat removable bra pads evenly, close the zip on a track jacket, and spread leggings with both legs apart and both ankles in frame.
- Upload each piece of a set on its own, and add a back photo for racerbacks, strap designs or a rear zip pocket.

Can a sports bra and leggings set be made as one image?
A set is made as separate images, because the source photo should contain a single garment with nothing overlapping it. Use the same style, view and backdrop for the bra and the leggings, and the pair reads as a set in the gallery.
Do leggings keep their shape as a hollow image?
Leggings are shown like other bottoms: waist open, legs with volume. They are narrow when empty, so the 3D shape is the tool's reading of how they fill out, not a measurement of fit. Check that seams, the gusset line and ankle length match the pair.
Which backdrop suits neon or black sportswear?
Black activewear separates clearly on white, grey or beige, and grey keeps tone-on-tone panels visible. Neon colours stand out on black or grey. For garments with mesh, remember that the backdrop is seen through the open areas.
