Sub-processors and AI providers.
Herofab uses 9 service providers; 4 of them process photos with AI: fal.ai, Google (Gemini API), Kie.ai, Anthropic, PBC. The list is read from the Service providers section of the privacy notice, last updated 30 October 2026, so this page and the notice always say the same.
Who processes photos with AI
Processors may use the data only to provide their service to Herofab; independent controllers process it under their own privacy terms.

What Herofab does not do
- Herofab does not sell personal data, does not use your photos to train AI models and does not use advertising trackers.
- Every generated image carries IPTC metadata that marks it as AI-generated.
Transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area and Türkiye, in particular in the United States. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on the standard contractual clauses offered by each provider.
Sub-processor questions
Does Herofab train AI models on my photos?
No. The privacy notice says Herofab does not use your photos to train AI models; sampled photos used in quality review and testing are not used to train AI models either.
Which companies see my product photos?
The image-generation and checking providers listed under AI providers receive the photo for the tool you choose, and Cloudflare stores photos and results. Each acts as Herofab's processor.
How are AI-generated images marked?
Every image Herofab generates carries IPTC metadata that marks it as AI-generated.
