What Mailchimp asks for, covered.
Mailchimp recommends images 660 to 1,320 pixels wide in its new builder and files of 1 MB or less. Herofab's square 2K output is 2,048 pixels wide and heavier than 1 MB, so it has to be resized and compressed before upload; the JPG download is the lighter file. For a full-width landing page Mailchimp recommends 1,500 to 2,500 pixels, and a 2,048-pixel image is inside that range.
Resize for email
Square 2K output is 2,048 pixels wide, above the 1,320 pixels Mailchimp recommends for retina displays.
Under 1 MB
The content studio takes images up to 1 MB; a 2K file is heavier and has to be compressed.
Inside the landing page range
A 2,048-pixel image is inside the 1,500 to 2,500 pixels recommended for a full-width landing page.
