Herofab is briefed to keep the fabric and the cut of the leg. Look down each leg of the delivered image and confirm the crease is where the real pair has it, or absent where the real pair has none. 2. ### Waistband, pleats and closure Belt loops, an extended tab or side adjusters, single or double pleats, a hook-and-bar or a button: these are the details a product page lists in words, so the image must agree with the text. Count the pleats and the belt loops on the result before it goes live. 3. ### The break at the shoe Cropped, ankle-length or full-length with a break is a decision the buyer makes from the picture. The length follows the pair in your photo and the size selected, which makes it a drawing of the fit and not a fitting. State the inside-leg length in the listing text. ## Photographing trousers as a source. - Hang the pair by the waistband from a clip hanger, or lay it flat, with the hook or button fastened and the zip closed so the waistband keeps its true width. - Press or steam the pair first. Creases from storage are read as part of the cloth, and a fold across the knee cannot be told apart from a seam. - Keep both hems in the picture, and add a close-up of the waistband if it has adjusters, an extended tab or a contrast lining at the pocket mouth. ## Virtual try-on for trousers, answered. **Should a belt be left on the trousers for the photo?** Only if it is sold with them. A belt covers the loops, the button and part of the waistband, and a part that is hidden in the photo cannot be added back faithfully. For trousers sold without one, take it off and fasten the waistband; for a self-fabric belt, buckle it as worn. **Can the hands-in-pockets pose be used for trousers?** Yes, it is one of the poses on offer and it suits side-seam and slant pockets. It also bends the pocket mouth and pulls at the pleats, so compare that area with your photo before publishing. A standing front image alongside it gives the buyer the undisturbed line. **Do checks and pinstripes come through on the model?** A woven pattern is treated like a print: where it can be matched it is carried over from the photo, and where it cannot it is redrawn.
