# Hoodies worn, not just laid flat.

A hoodie is sold on its shape: how the hood sits on the shoulders, how heavy the fleece looks, how the rib closes at the wrist and waist. Herofab puts the hoodie from one flat-lay or hanger photo on a studio model, with the print and the hardware briefed to stay as photographed.

## The parts of a hoodie that carry the image.

1. ### Hood shape and drawcords

A two-panel or three-panel hood, a crossover neck, round or flat cords, metal eyelets and cord tips are what a buyer zooms into. Count the eyelets, confirm that both cords are present and equal in length, and that the hood lies behind the neck instead of merging into a collar.
2. ### Kangaroo pocket or zip front

A pullover has a pouch pocket with two angled openings; a zip hoodie splits it in half and adds a zip tape and a puller. Confirm that the pocket matches the construction of the real piece, particularly on hands-in-pockets and three-quarter poses.
3. ### Rib cuffs, hem and chest logo

Ribbing at the wrist and waist gives a hoodie its blouson outline, and a chest logo sits a set distance below the neck. Go over both, and choose the size with intent: an oversized look comes from the size selected, not from a measurement of a real body.

## Laying out a hoodie for the source photo.

- Place the hoodie on its back with the hood spread open above the shoulders, not folded forward over the chest.
- Pull the drawcords out to their full length, straighten the pocket, zip a zip-front all the way up, and angle the sleeves outwards.
- Include a photo of the back when it is printed, plus a close-up of embroidery, a woven patch or a rubber logo.

## Virtual try-on for hoodies, answered.

**Will the model wear the hood up or down?**

The pose options describe the body, not the hood, so photograph the garment the way it should be read: hood down and spread flat, with the neck opening and both drawcords visible. A hood folded behind the body or tucked inside is hidden from the camera, and a hidden part cannot be added back faithfully.

**How does an oversized hoodie come across on the model?**

Through the size and the body type selected. Sizes run from XS to XXL, and the drape on the model follows that choice. It illustrates the cut and does not measure how the hoodie fits a particular customer, so dropped shoulders and sleeve length belong in the size guide as well.

**Where does a large back print end up?**

On the back. Upload the back as a second photo and order front and back as one set; back prints stay on the back and are not moved to the chest. Without that second photo there is no reference for the artwork, so it should not be expected in the result.

**How much does it cost?**

5 credits per image, plus one credit for 4K. The cost is shown before you generate, and if a job fails the credits are returned. The 20 free credits at sign-up cover 4 images with this tool.
