# One on-model image, a whole set of poses.

A product page needs more than one view of a garment, and the views have to belong together. Herofab starts from one image of a model wearing the product and renders further poses of it, with the same person, garment, background and light briefed to stay in each.

## How a pose set is put together.

1. ### The order of the set

A plain standing view opens the set: front-on, arms relaxed, with neckline, closure, pockets and hem all on show. A walking or three-quarter view follows and brings the side seam, the sleeve and the fall of the cloth into the picture. A close-up comes last and moves the collar, the fabric and the trims near.
2. ### Why one model reads as one shoot

A gallery is trusted when nothing but the pose changes from image to image. A different face, another backdrop or a shift in the light makes a buyer wonder whether the pictures show one product. Every pose here is rendered from the same starting image, so the set shares its model, its ground and its styling.
3. ### Folds may change, the garment may not

A step moves the hem and a turn bends the sleeve, and those changes are expected. The colour, the length, the button count, the pocket positions, the print and the logo are not supposed to move. Poses that turn the body away from the camera are where pockets, buttons and prints are hardest to keep.

## The starting image for the whole set.

- Choose a full-length, front-facing image with the garment wholly visible; every pose of the set is rendered from it, and a part it hides has to be drawn.
- Settle the styling before the first pose is ordered: jacket open or closed, sleeves down or rolled, shirt tucked or loose. The garment is briefed to stay as this image shows it.
- Inspect the starting image at full size before building on it; a slip in a logo, a pocket or a button row is repeated in each pose made from it.

## Pose set for product pages, answered.

**Can a pose set be ordered without an on-model image to start from?**

Yes, through virtual try-on. When several poses are ordered there from a product photo, the first image is dressed on the model and every further pose is made from that image, so the person, the garment and the background stay the same. More poses can be added later from any delivered image.

**Should every pose in a set use the same aspect ratio?**

Each image is delivered in a square, portrait or landscape ratio, in 2K, or 4K as an option. A gallery reads more calmly when the full-length views share one ratio, and portrait gives a standing or walking figure the most room. Any delivered image can also be downloaded in marketplace sizes without cropping.

**How do I check that the garment is identical across the set?**

Place the images next to each other and take one feature at a time: colour, length, the number of buttons, the position of each pocket, the print and any logo. Begin with the poses in which the body is turned. Leave out of the gallery any pose where the garment differs from the starting image.

**How much does it cost?**

3 credits per image, plus one credit for 4K. The cost is shown before you generate, and if a job fails the credits are returned. The 20 free credits at sign-up cover 6 images with this tool.
