These are briefed to stay. Compare the profile in the result with the source photo, and look at the tread edge, the welt stitching and any logo on the side or the heel tab. 2. ### Contact with the ground A shoe that floats or sinks gives a scene away. The sole should meet the surface along its tread, a heel tip should touch down, and the shadow should fall in the direction of the described light. On steps, check that the shoe rests on one tread and does not hang over its edge unsupported. 3. ### A pair or a single shoe The scene starts from what the photo shows. A pair photographed together is briefed to remain that pair, left and right distinct, with laces, buckles and straps on the correct sides. Check that it has not become two left shoes and that both carry the same details.
