- **Size:** Photos should be a minimum of 620 × 620 pixels and a maximum of 1,600 × 1,600 pixels; the listing standards recommend at least 620 pixels on each side
- **Aspect ratio:** All photos are square-cropped on the web, in the app and in search engines, and photos can only be cropped into a square shape
- **Number:** Up to 25 photos per listing
- **Main image:** The first photo is the leading (Primary) photo shown in search results and should display the item in its entirety
- **Background:** A neutral or blank background is described as a safe choice; distracting patterns should be avoided
- **Not allowed:** Added text or graphics, borders, manufacturer logos, collaged images, screenshots, placeholder or "Coming Soon" images, and photos of gear still in its box or packaging
- **Watermarks:** Allowed only if small, transparent and out of the way of the pictured gear; Reverb strongly advises against them
- **Stock photos:** Only authorised dealers may use stock photos; all other listings need current, original photos of the exact item for sale
- **Whole item:** Photos showing the entire item are required, and any blemishes, wear or damage must be photographed
- **People or pets:** Photos with people or pets prevent Reverb from sharing or promoting the listing

## What Reverb asks for, covered.

Reverb requires current, original photos of the exact item for sale, with any blemishes, wear or damage photographed, and lets only authorised dealers use stock photos. An AI-generated image is not a photo of the exact item, so Herofab does not recommend generated images for Reverb listings. The free image size checker reads your own photo in the browser and tests it against Reverb's minimum of 620 × 620 pixels and maximum of 1,600 × 1,600 pixels; the photo is not uploaded or changed.

### Photos of the exact item

Reverb requires current, original photos of the exact item for sale; stock photos are for authorised dealers only.

### Wear must be shown

Any blemishes, wear or damage must be photographed, which a generated image cannot do.

### Check the size first

The free image size checker tests a photo in the browser against Reverb's 620 × 620 and 1,600 × 1,600 pixel limits.
