- **Formats:** JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF
- **File size:** 5 MB maximum per uploaded image
- **Size:** Images must be under 2,000 pixels in both width and height
- **Email width:** The email canvas is 600 pixels wide by default and the width can be adjusted
- **Display size:** Images cannot be displayed larger than the original uploaded file; uploading at the exact dimensions needed preserves quality
- **Total email size:** Keep the total email size under 100 KB; Gmail clips larger emails
- **Animated GIFs:** GIFs are supported; keep the file size under 1 MB, and editing a GIF in the Image Editor saves it as a static image
- **WebP in Gmail:** Gmail converts WebP images to PNG or JPEG, which can flatten transparency or remove animation; use PNG for transparency, JPG for photos and GIF for animation
- **Product images:** A Product Listing block shows up to 12 products, with images pulled automatically from the store; the images are static once the email is created

## What Omnisend asks for, covered.

Omnisend takes images under 2,000 pixels in both width and height and up to 5 MB. Herofab's square 2K output is 2,048 × 2,048 pixels, just over that, so it is resized before upload; a 2K PNG can also exceed 5 MB, and the JPG download is the lighter file. The email canvas is 600 pixels wide by default, and an image cannot be displayed larger than the uploaded file. A Product Listing block pulls product images from the store automatically, so those follow the store's own images.

### Resize below 2,000 pixels

Square 2K output is 2,048 × 2,048 pixels; Omnisend takes images under 2,000 pixels in width and height.

### Lighter as JPG

Omnisend limits an uploaded image to 5 MB; the JPG download is lighter than the PNG.

### Store images flow in

A Product Listing block pulls images from the store automatically.
