# Lingerie and swimwear: the stricter rules.

Intimate apparel and swimwear have their own image rules on Amazon, and children's swimwear and underwear cannot be shown on models on Amazon or TikTok Shop.

- **Explicit images:** Images are not sexually explicit or obscene, as determined by Amazon
- **Thongs and panties:** A front view for the main image; back views as alternate images
- **Low coverage:** Thongs and panties without full front and back coverage are shown without a human model; no airbrushing of exposed skin
- **Sheer products:** May be shown on a model if genitalia and breasts are not exposed; no bars or graphics over body parts
- **Pasties:** Shown off-model
- **Children's items:** Children's and baby undergarments, swimwear and similar form-fitting items are never shown on a model

**Which view does Amazon require for panties?**

A front view for the main image; back views can be uploaded as alternate images.

**Can sheer products be shown on a model on Amazon?**

They might be permitted if genitalia and breasts or nipples are not exposed or presented in a lewd or provocative manner, and no bars or graphics cover body parts. For transparent products on a model, Amazon also asks for clothes worn under the item.
