# Kids' clothing photos: when models are not allowed.

Children's swimwear, underwear and form-fitting items have their own image rules: Amazon and TikTok Shop require them to be shown without a model. This page lists the published rules with their sources.

## Amazon: clothing guidelines

- **Form-fitting items:** Modelling of children's and baby undergarments, leotards, swimwear and similar form-fitting items is strictly prohibited; they are displayed without models
- **Resolution:** Children's wear images under 1,000 pixels are not allowed
- **Main image:** Pure white background, the whole product in frame

## Kids' clothing, answered.

**Can kids' swimwear be shown on a model on Amazon?**

No. Amazon strictly prohibits modelling of children's and baby undergarments, leotards, swimwear and similar form-fitting items; they are photographed lying flat, without models.

**Does TikTok Shop allow child models?**

Not for children's swimwear and undergarments, which must be displayed flat without child models or mannequins. For other categories, child models and mannequins are permitted if all images comply with TikTok's other policies.

**What size do children's wear images need on Amazon?**

At least 1,000 pixels; smaller children's wear images are prohibited.
